Station MT2

Gyre arrived on Station MT2 at 00:28 GMT on June 17, 2000 and we finished all sampling at 10:16 GMT on June 17, 2000. This 680 meter deep station is located in the Mississippi Canyon. The attached picture is of a hermit crab captured in the trawl net. The crab's shell is covered by a sea anemone.
